If you're going away, here are a few things to bear in mind
- Avoide booking sitter services where they advertise on their vehicles, this could draw attention to your property
- Invite your neighbours to park their vehicle on your driveway when your Cat Sitter is not due to call
- Leave lights, and possibly a radio turned on at low volume, in various rooms on timer switches
- Remove high value or attractive contents from windows
- During the Christmas holidays avoid leaving presents and gifts on display, e.g. near windows, under visible Christmas trees and within other easily accessible locations
- Do not store empty discarded boxes and packaging outside. This advertises the items that have been recently purchased and is likely to draw attention to the property
- Store ladders in garages or outbuildings or chain them up if left outside
- Ensure all outbuildings are secured with machinery and tools stored out of sight

- Bringing in the mail to a safe and secure location
- Watering/Feeding a reasonable number of house plants
If Twice Daily Visits:
- As for Once Daily Plus..........
- Putting out and bringing in the refuse and recycling bins as instructed
- Leaving on a light or two in the evening and turned off in the morning (if timers are not used)
- Opening & closing the curtains morning & evening
